Un insólito momento se vivió durante la ceremonia de premiación de Francia tras coronarse en el Mundial de Rusia 2018, pues una mujer que ayudaba a repartir las medallas de los jugadores fue captada guardándose una presea en la bolsa derecha de su saco.

El hecho quedó registrado ya que fue bastante notorio como la fémina, que se encotraba detrás de Valdimir Putin y Gianni Infantino, rápidamente escondió la medalla después de entregar la correspondiente del técnico Didier Deschamps.

El conjunto de Francia se coronó en este mundial tras vencer a Croacia 4-2 y así conseguir su segunda Copa del Mundo en su historia.
